What we collect. A random device identifier (so your votes count once), the matchups you create, your votes, an optional display name, and — only if you choose Sign in with Apple — the anonymous Apple user identifier. If you enable notifications we store your push token. We keep a salted hash of your IP address for a short time to prevent vote abuse.
What we don't do. No ads, no tracking SDKs, no selling or sharing data with third parties, no cross-app tracking. We don't collect your name, email, contacts, or location.
AI moderation. The two sides of a matchup you create are sent to an automated content classifier (Anthropic Claude) to check our content policy and normalize names. No personal data is included.
Your controls. In Settings you can change your name, turn off notifications, block users, and delete your data. "Delete my data" permanently removes your account, votes, ribbons and reports.
Retention. Matchups you created stay live (without your name) after you delete your account, because other people voted on them. Moderation logs are kept for 90 days.
Children. Sided is not directed to children under 13.
